With a wealth of knowledge, our experienced designers and technical engineers will offer you expert guidance on lighting schemes, costing and technology.

We work closely with interior designers, specifiers and project leaders over the entire lifetime of a project, from initial talks on concepts to the delivery and installation of the final feature chandelier. We will sign off each stage of development, ensuring that every single item is safe, completely fit for purpose and meets the ‘vision’.

Our Contracts Team is backed up by the expertise of entire där lighting group, including:

our in-house Design Team, which as well as one-off contract pieces creates white label products for major brands and our own branded catalogue. Our designers create 3D visuals and technical drawings for client approval and costing.
our Technical Team, which ensures each product, whether custom designed or from our stock, meets the highest safety and quality standards. Talking of safety, we are an ISO9001 company and have robust testing and development procedures.
our in-house Light Shade Studio, which creates bespoke silk shades by hand.

In addition to custom one-off designs, with more than 2000 stocked products from our catalogue of home-grown designs we are able to offer a combination of existing lighting products, all of which can be further customised by our Design Team or with bespoke silk shades.

Lambwood Heights - Chigwell, Essex

Following the successful completion of contract lighting works on their Hastings and Eastbourne facilities, Oakland Care approached dar lighting group at the planning stage for Lambwood Heights, their most ambitious project to date. This purpose-built facility with 73 private en-suite rooms offers a five-star environment achieving the very highest standards in facilities and personal residential care.

As a strong Art Deco theme emanates throughout this project, we built on the glamour, placing our Rita Table Lamp and the Halle Crystal Pendants and Wall Lights in bedrooms. These products came directly from our 2000-product main catalogue range; we also designed and manufactured additional custom products for this project.

In the communal areas and corridors, existing där designs were customised with real silk shades created by hand in-house.

Three examples shown here include corridor lighting consisting of our Alsie wall light covered using a shagreen-type fabric, as specified by the interior designer, the Zaragoza wall light with a micro-pleat shade, and a flush version of our popular Santino pendant, the latter two again with custom silk shades.

Roomzzz - York

With our assistance, the Interior Designer chose nine-light pendants and matching wall lights in copper from our striking Rawley range for the split-level suites of this award-winning serviced apartment hotel in the city centre. The elegant ribbon design of this range references the aparthotel’s riverside location.

Oakland Care - Eastbourne

With an overall brief to be dementia friendly while respecting CIBSE requirements, our team worked closely with the Interior Designer of this new-build care home. We selected luxurious lights with real silk shades for this five-star Oakland Care Home. The quality shades are handmade in house; as this care home features an adventurous colour palette, the colours we chose are bold, coordinating with the wall coverings and soft furnishings.
